Genital WartsGenital warts are growths that appear on the genital and/or oral areas of the body and are commonly associated with HPV types 6 and 11. Genital warts are typically asymptomatic, but they can be painful or itchy. Often, genital warts are found visually and can lead to the detection of HPV in patients because 90% of genital warts are caused by HPV types 6 and 11.
